RAF Benevolent Fund

The longest standing RAF charity dedicated to supporting serving and former RAF personnel, and their families. Providing practical, emotional and financial support whenever its needed.

Royal Anglian Regiment Charity

Providing relief to persons in need, hardship, or distress. Made up of 3 Battalions, the 2nd Battalion “The Poachers” is our local infantry battalion based at Kendrew Barracks, Oakham, Leicestershire.

Pancreatic Cancer UK

Providing funding for research, campaigning and expert support for those living with pancreatic cancer.

Loros

Founded by the community in 1977, Loros have been supporting and caring for patients living with terminal illness, and their families across Leicester, leicestershire and Rutland for over 40 years. Requiring over £9 million annually to operate, the charity relies on donations, legacies and fundraising for its continued operation.

Armed Forces Day

Armed Forces Day takes place on the last Saturday each June, falling this year on 27th
June.

It also marks the culmination of a week of celebrations, beginning on Monday 22 June, when the public show their support and appreciation for the Armed Forces community. It also includes Reserves Day (24 June), which provides the country with an opportunity to recognise our Reserve Forces.

It is a chance to show your support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving personnel to Service families, veterans and cadets.
